David Bell is a seasoned cybersecurity professional currently serving as the Managing Director for Cybersecurity & Technology Risk Management and CISO at American Airlines. With over 16 years at American Airlines, David has played a pivotal role in shaping the cybersecurity and technology landscape of the airline. Since August 2018, David has been leading the Cybersecurity & Technology Risk Management sector, focusing on safeguarding the airline's digital assets and infrastructure. Prior to this, he served as the Managing Director for Enterprise Infrastructure Services from April 2013 to August 2018 and as the Senior Manager for Platform Hosting Services from May 2012 to April 2013, showcasing his comprehensive understanding of IT infrastructure and security. Before joining American Airlines, David held the position of Associate Director at Arthur Anderson / Protiviti from September 2001 to April 2007. His career also includes a significant tenure at Citi, where he served as Vice President for eCommerce Infrastructure and Security Services from 1993 to 2001, contributing to the growth and security of Citigroup's e-commerce platforms.
