Fortify Experts helps organizations govern and secure AI. Services include an AI Risk Snapshot, AI governance programs aligned to NIST AI RMF and ISO/IEC 42001, LLM application security testing, AI red teaming, board AI briefings and, through Fortified360, secure AI access.
AI services
AI Risk Snapshot
A fixed-scope starting point: an inventory of the AI in use, including shadow AI, your top risks and a 90-day plan.
AI governance program
AI policy, acceptable-use rules, roles, an approval workflow and a register of models and AI vendors.
ISO/IEC 42001 readiness
A gap assessment and remediation plan for the AI management system standard.
LLM application testing
Security testing of chatbots, copilots and AI features for prompt injection, data leakage and unsafe actions.
AI red teaming
Adversarial exercises against AI-enabled workflows and agents, the way a motivated attacker would approach them.
Board AI briefing
A session for directors and executives on AI risk, plus a one-page AI risk statement for the board to approve.
Governance needs enforcement
A policy that says “don’t paste client data into public chatbots” only works if people have a safe alternative. Fortified360, our sister company, provides one governed portal to multiple AI models, with logging, data controls and single sign-on.
- One portal, several AI models
- Activity logging for audit
- Policy and data controls
- Single sign-on
Frameworks we align to
| Framework | What it covers | Where we use it |
|---|---|---|
| NIST AI RMF 1.0 | A voluntary framework to govern, map, measure and manage AI risk | AI governance programs and risk snapshots |
| ISO/IEC 42001 | Certifiable requirements for an AI management system | ISO 42001 readiness |
| OWASP Top 10 for LLM Applications | The most common security risks in LLM-based applications | LLM application testing |
| MITRE ATLAS | A knowledge base of adversary tactics against AI systems | AI red teaming |
Questions we hear
Where should an organization start with AI governance?
With an inventory. Most organizations don’t know which AI tools employees use or what data goes into them. Our AI Risk Snapshot finds that out, then sets the first policies and a 90-day plan.
What is ISO/IEC 42001?
ISO/IEC 42001 is the international standard for an AI management system: the policies, roles and controls an organization uses to develop or use AI responsibly. Organizations can be certified against it by an accredited body.
How is testing an AI application different from a normal penetration test?
AI applications fail in new ways: prompt injection, leaking sensitive data through responses, and models or agents taking actions they shouldn’t. We test for those using the OWASP Top 10 for LLM Applications and MITRE ATLAS, alongside conventional testing.
Can you stop employees pasting sensitive data into public AI tools?
Policy is the first step. For enforcement, Fortified360 provides a governed portal to multiple AI models with logging and data controls, so people can use AI without data leaving your control.
