Tim Howard is a Certified vCISO (CvCISO) and the founder of Fortify Experts. He founded the firm in 2014 to help companies find and build strong security leadership. After more than 15 years running executive search firms, he saw the same pattern again and again: organizations struggled less with tools than with knowing where they stood and what to do first.
That led Fortify Experts into advisory and assessments, and led Tim to found Fortified360 to deliver the technology that security programs kept needing: secure workspaces, browser isolation and OT secure remote access.
Every month Tim moderates the Fortify Experts CISO Executive Forum, a confidential roundtable of security executives, and publishes the lessons to more than 5,000 security leaders. His writing covers AI driven threats, Zero Trust, CMMC and security leadership. He has appeared on KPRC NBC Houston as a trusted cyber advisor.
