Nathan Mills was named as its head of global security by Zoom. Mills, previously the head of physical security at Zoom, has experience from General Electric and the US Department of State.
Patrice Wilmot: Became deputy chief information security officer at the IRS.
Girish Dixit: Appointed CISO and executive vice president at stockbroking company Kotak Securities.
Robert Hafredal: Became Husqvarna Group’s Executive Vice President of Global Information Services and Group Chief Information Officer.
Saachi Gupta Ghosh: Appointed CISO and head of IT at RBL Bank.
Paul Farley: started as the new Corporate Chief Information Security Officer at NCR Corporation

September 2023:

Patrice Wilmot was appointed as the deputy chief information security officer at the US Internal Revenue Service. Wilmot’s prior role was as the director of identity and access management at the IRS and she has experience with the US Defense Information Systems Agency.
Bishop Fox, an offensive security firm, appointed Christie Terrill as its first CISO. Terrill has a 14-year tenure at Bishop Fox and previously worked in technology consulting with Accenture and Ernst & Young.
Marqeta named Heather Gantt-Evans as its new CISO. Gantt-Evans has held senior roles at SailPoint, The Home Depot, Ernst & Young, and is a US Army Reserves veteran.
The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) appointed Yonesy Nunez as managing director and CISO. Nunez’s past roles include CISO at Jack Henry & Associates and positions at Wells Fargo, Citi, and Price Waterhouse Coopers.
Jordan Avnaim was named CISO of Entrust, a payment and identity security firm. Avnaim has previously held senior cybersecurity roles at The Capital Group Companies and Deloitte & Touche.
Cyemptive Technologies appointed Vince Dova as VP of security and Jason Huff as COO. Dova is a former branch chief for the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, and Huff is a retired Air Force Lt. Col. with extensive military leadership experience.
Kevin Nolten: Named CISO at global supply chain platform provider Flexport.
Jeff Foley: Appointed CISO and senior vice president of security operations at Viasat.
Greg Day: Became chief information security officer at cybersecurity company Black Kite.

August 2023:

Boom Supersonic’s CISO, Chris Roberts, joined Onyxia Cyber’s board as a strategic advisor. Roberts is known for demonstrating aviation system vulnerabilities.
Asurity Technologies named Scott Sykes as its CISO, previously serving in similar roles at Netcracker Technology and Tata Communications.
Girish Dixit was appointed as CISO and executive vice president at Kotak Securities. Dixit is a 20-year cybersecurity veteran with experience at HDFC Bank, JPMorgan Chase, and Citibank India.
Scott Carlson: Named CISO at global financial services company FIS.
Mark Weatherford: Appointed CISO at cloud security company Netskope.
Jeff Hancock: Became CISO at healthcare technology platform provider Cerner.
Jeff Brown: Appointed CISO at cybersecurity company Symantec.
David Baker: Named CISO at cybersecurity company CrowdStrike.
David DeVries: Appointed CISO at cybersecurity company Fortinet.
John DiMaria: Became CISO at cybersecurity company Palo Alto Networks.

July 2023:

Uptycs appointed Kevin Paige as its CISO and VP of product strategy. Paige’s experience includes roles at Flexport, Salesforce, MuleSoft, xMatters, and the US Army.
Databricks named Fermin Serna as its CSO. Serna was formerly CISO at Citrix and held senior security roles at Google, Microsoft, and GitHub.
Reddit appointed Fredrick Lee as its new CISO. Lee previously held senior positions at Square and Gusto.
Fastly named Marshall Erwin as its new CISO. Erwin was formerly CSO at Mozilla and has experience in the US intelligence community.
Tom Kellermann: Named CISO at cybersecurity company Carbon Black.
Jason Steer: Appointed CISO at cybersecurity company Mimecast.
Michael Coates: Became CISO at cybersecurity company Proofpoint.

June 2023:

Allied Payment Network appointed James Dixon as CISO. Dixon has over 25 years of experience in technology and has held leadership positions at various payment technology companies.
GoTo named Attila Torok as its CISO. Torok, who is returning to GoTo, was most recently head of security at Zapier.
Laura Davidson started as the new Chief Information Security Officer at AAM – American Axle & Manufacturing!
Jen Easterly: Named CISO at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA).
Samantha Finn: Appointed CISO at the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
Rob Joyce: Became CISO at the National Security Agency (NSA).

May 2023:

Google Cloud’s CISO Phil Venables was named to the board of directors of Veza.
Hoxhunt appointed Petri Kuivala as its CISO advisor. Kuivala has held positions at NXP Semiconductors, Nokia, and Microsoft.
Brown & Brown named Barry Hensley as its first chief security officer and Rob Burch as CISO. Hensley previously worked at Secureworks, and Burch was at Fidelity National Financial.
Eric Goldstein: Named CISO at the Department of Justice (DOJ).

April 2023:

GitLab appointed Josh Lemos as its CISO. Lemos was formerly CISO at Block (formerly Square) and has held senior roles at Cylance and ServiceNow
